OUR MISSION and HISTORY
我們的宗旨和由來

Ziyi Etiquette is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN #88-0838096) dedicated to promoting the arts and preserving cultural heritage through a diverse array of educational programs and special events. Founded in 2016, Ziyi Etiquette has made significant strides in fostering cultural exchange and etiquette education within the community, specifically bridging the gap between Eastern and Western traditions.

紫宜禮儀的宗旨是促進中西方藝術與文化的雙向交流與傳承。我們致力於搭建一個跨文化交流的橋樑,讓東方人更深入了解西方禮儀與文化,同時也幫助西方人更好地欣賞中華文化的博大精深。

In addition to its educational initiatives, Ziyi Etiquette has a strong commitment to giving back to the community. The organization has successfully implemented strategic budgeting to ensure that proceeds from fundraising events are donated to various charitable organizations, including the San Marino School Foundation, Korean American Family Services, and the Lions Club. These contributions reflect Ziyi Etiquette’s dedication to making a positive impact beyond its own programs.These activities not only foster a sense of community but also promote cultural awareness and appreciation.

紫宜 (周鍊霞 ) 

1906-2000

Ziyi,  a true avant-garde in the golden era of old Shanghai. Her paintings and poems retain a clear and bright style. She once enjoyed a great popularity in Shanghai and was praised as a "fairy" for her looks and talents.

周煉霞,字紫宜,是活躍於老上海黃金時代的藝術界風雲人物。紫宜品貌雙全,高雅風致,人稱「金閨國士」。在上海發起組織中國女子書畫會,集中了女畫家中的佼佼者,周煉霞和陸小曼都是首批重要成員,亦都是美艷、有人氣、有話題的名媛畫家。1936年,她的畫被選送加拿大第一屆國際藝術展,獲金獎。隨即被英國及意大利出版的《世界名人大辭典》載入其畫傳。
